First meeting of the Dream Team...

Yesterday, me, Karol, Rouf, Karita and James met at our place to discuss the first and final plan all together. After few hours of discussion on the maps and guides we managed to set up the plan. But as we all know the trip is kind of adventurous so everything can happen and everything can change on the way and we ARE ready for that!!!

We've decided to take the following route:
Day 1:
Delhi - Bilaspur (approx 350 km, mostly highway)
Day 2:
Bilaspur - Manali (approx 180 km, mostly mountain road)
Day 3:
Manali - Jispa (alt 3350, 141 km, really bad mountain road)
Day 4:
Jispa - Leh (alt 3505, 328 km)
We will have two pit-stops: Pang (alt 4500, 167km & Upshi alt 3384, 264km ). If we decide we're unable to reach Leh on the same day, we'll stay overnight in one of the camps. However, because of high altitude (especially at Pang) we should aim at reaching Leh the same day.
Day 5 & Day 6:
Leh
Day 7:
Leh - Kargil (204 km)
Day 8:
Kargil - Srinagar (195 km)
Day 9:
Srinagar - Jammu (290 km)
Day 10 & Day 11:
Jammu - Delhi
